Herbs and spices to use in Golden Milk

Here’s the Golden Milk recipe

This delightful drink is great before bedtime, supporting your body's strength and providing relaxing, calming properties.*

Golden milk mixture of herbs turmeric ginger cinnamon black pepper

Golden Milk Paste

  • 4 tbs of powdered Turmeric or 1 inch of fresh, ground Turmeric

  • 2 teaspoons cinnamon

  • 1/2 teaspoon powdered ginger

  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper

  • 5 tbs filtered water 

  • 1 tablespoon melted coconut oil

Golden Milk Paste Instructions

Mix dry ingredients. Melt coconut oil on very low heat and quickly add in water + dry ingredients until evenly stirred and becomes a paste. Put into glass jar to cool, then refrigerate.

Golden Milk Drink

  • 1 cup milk (non-dairy or dairy)

  • 1 tablespoon coconut oil

  • 1/4 teaspoon Golden Milk paste

  • Honey, to taste

Recipe Instructions

Put all ingredients in a saucepan on medium heat, stirring constantly. When it is fully blended and hot but not boiling, remove from heat and pour it into a cup. Add honey to taste (as desired). Sip and enjoy!
